As part of KLA’s strategic commitment to advance humanity, the company has published its latest Global Impact Report detailing the company’s progress in environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals, results and commitments.

The report announces that KLA is submitting its climate goals for verification by the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi), including a quantifiable Scope 3 emissions target and reports on the company’s progress to date on existing goals to use 100% renewable electricity and reduce Scope 1 and 2 combined emissions 50% by 2030. Other key areas of ESG focus outlined in the report include:
- Managing the company’s environmental impact, such as reducing greenhouse emissions, energy and water usage and waste
- Investing in employees, attracting and retaining our talent and promoting teamwork and innovation with a focus on inclusion and diversity
- Fostering health, safety and well-being in the workplace
- Engaging with communities to create a more equitable, inclusive and accessible world
- Helping customers achieve their sustainability goals through product stewardship and innovation
